Blogger Emilia shared a recipe for crispy potato pancakes.
Ingredients:
- Do not add the egg: there is already a lot of starch in the potatoes.
- Flour is optional: my husband likes thicker potato pancakes, so I add 2-3 spoons.
- Garlic - for piquancy: 3 cloves will add flavor.
- The blender is our friend: it saves time and effort.
Step-by-step recipe:
- Grate: 5-6 potatoes, onions and 3 cloves of garlic (you can use a blender).
- Squeeze: extra juice so that the pancakes do not fall apart.
- Add: salt, pepper, 2-3 tablespoons of flour (optional).
- Fry: in a preheated frying pan with vegetable oil until golden brown (fry the pancakes over medium heat so that they fry inside).
- Serve potato pancakes with sour cream, herbs, mushrooms or your favorite sauce.
