In Odesa, 16-17-year-old boys were obliged to come to recruiting stations for military registration.

This is stated in the statement of the TCC and SP of the Odesa region.

"At the conscription stations of the TCC and SP of the Odessa region, the registration of young men born in 2007 continues. According to the current legislation, all citizens who have received a summons for registration must arrive at the recruiting stations of the district territorial recruitment and social support centers at the place of residence in person. All pre-conscripts living in the territory of the district or city are subject to registration," the statement reads.

As noted, the summons also contains a list of documents that young men must submit in person to the recruiting stations.

"Young men must arrive at the polling stations at the time specified in the summons. If a pre-conscript cannot arrive at the polling station at the specified time, there must be good reasons for this," the military registration and enlistment office warns.

It is said that the registration campaign is needed to register young men for military service, determine the number of future conscripts, how many of them are suitable for military service, as well as to establish their personal qualities, profession, level of education.

It is explained that the certificate of registration to the conscription station is issued to citizens assigned to conscription stations, who, according to the results of the registration commission, are recognized as fit or temporarily unfit for military service or in need of treatment.
