Since mid-February, strawberries and fresh herbs have been sold in the markets in the region .

Due to the warm weather this February, early vegetables were sold too early at local markets in the region. It should be noted that for more than two weeks, the markets of Uzhgorod and Perechyn have been selling the first greenhouse strawberries of the year. Regardless of the prices for this delicacy, there are many people who want to buy a berry.

Among the clients are adults and children. Parents indulge their child and often, satisfy their whims to buy fragrant and juicy strawberries. And even nitrates, which are most present at this time in berries, do not stop you from temptation.

It is worth noting that the berry season has just begun, but prices are still quite high and therefore a number of buyers are saving and expecting berries to become cheaper. Last season, strawberries at local markets started at a price of 120 hryvnias per kilogram. Later, prices fell down to 85 hryvnias per kilogram. Transcarpathians also sold delicacies in other regions of Ukraine.

Transcarpathian raspberries were also brought to the capital, while the price of this berry last year broke all records - from 1500 hryvnias per kilogram But Spanish cherries at the beginning of the season also put me in a stupor.

In addition to early berries, Transcarpathian markets actively sell greenhouse early greens and vegetables. The prices are also quite high. A bunch of green onions costs on average from 15-20 hryvnia, red radish - 25-30 hryvnia. Early cabbage will fly out of the wallet from 30 hryvnia per kilogram. Cucumbers from 110 - 130 hryvnia per kilogram. It is worth noting that last year this vegetable was also one of the most expensive and caused a lot of discussion on Facebook. About cucumbers "the whole Ukraine was buzzing".

It is difficult to guess what the prices for vegetables and the first berries will be in Ukraine and in the region in particular. At the same time, sellers note that by Easter, vegetable products will either fall sharply in price, or will once again begin to rise in price.
