One of the categories of men can be forcibly dragged to the military enlistment office.

Since the mobilization of persons liable for military service continues in Ukraine, it is envisaged that all citizens liable for military service aged 18-60 must register for military service. Evaders, in other words, those who want to be dismissed from service, ignore  summonses and refuse to submit updated data, can be forcibly taken to the TCC.

This was reported by the Western Courier.

First of all, we are talking about the register of persons liable for military service "Oberig". In many regions, it has already started working, and the data of persons liable for military service have been entered there.

Roman Bodnar, Deputy Head of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional TCC and SP, Head of the Mobilization and Defense Work Sector, tells more about this.

He noted that the Oberih register of persons liable for military service has begun to work in the region, where the data of about 90% of persons liable for military service have already been entered:

"We already have the Oberig system, where the data of about 90% of conscripts are entered. Data from various registers is received there, but not all of them yet. All these people are officially wanted by the police. The police have the right to forcibly bring persons who are in this database to the TCC as part of administrative detention."

Bodnar notes that access to the register is closed: "... Only we and the Border Guard Service have it."

He points out that a person gets there if he did not arrive on summons and did not provide the data provided for by law or otherwise evaded the draft: "A note is made about such a citizen that he is wanted."

A person whose data was entered into the database is officially wanted, he can be stopped on the street, checked in the "Oberig" database and forcibly taken to the TCC:

"As of December 2023, we had 36 thousand such persons in the region. For the current year, another three thousand citizens have been added to this database. All these people are officially wanted. Therefore, one should not be surprised when one of the conscripts was stopped on the street, checked in the "Oberig" database and immediately forcibly taken to the TCC. Because since the beginning of the war, there are a lot of those who have received a summons, have not come to us and think that no one will look for them."

He also reflects on the occurrence of possible unpleasant situations when a person is really entitled to receive a deferment from conscription, but did not have time to submit updated data to the TCC:

"... Unpleasant moments may arise when a person who really has the right to a deferment, but has not submitted this data to the TCC, when traveling abroad, presents documents, for example, for the paternity of three children. And the person is told: "Everything is fine, but you are wanted. You need to clarify the data." And they don't let her cross the border, but send her to our TCC."

It should be noted that recently a number of posts have been distributed on Facebook, as well as video footage where ordinary passers-by are forcibly dragged to the military registration and enlistment offices by "people in uniform". Such incidents are recorded more than once by residents of Transcarpathia. Men liable for military service are taken to the TCC directly from the cabins of buses. We wrote about one of these cases last year. The incident was recorded by a journalist of the Voice of the Carpathians publication. Eyewitnesses also note that they had to witness how men were "caught" from the cabins of minibuses at bus stops. Residents say that there are almost no men left in the villages, because everyone was taken to the front. At the same time, people are very outraged by the behavior of IDPs who are "sitting here", according to them.

As for the "force mobilization" in Transcarpathia, there are quite a lot of cases recorded by eyewitnesses. The audacity of the TCC representatives in the course of their official duties is simply shocking. People write: they are not against mobilization, not against the defense of the Motherland, and against the physical force used in the TCC. Recall that the other day in Transcarpathia, a peaceful rally was announced against the use of force by the TCC and in support  of conscripts. A peaceful rally with the blocking of the highway took place in Mukachevo district. The people were later dispersed by the police, and the organizer of the event was fined for violating the law during martial law in the state. Recall that the day before in Mukachevo district, a case of beating of a passer-by by employees of the TCC was recorded.

Currently, residents of the region continue to note that conscripts are caught both in private homes and in hotels in the middle of the night, pulled out of cars in the middle of the road. We have already written about how one of the men was forcibly dragged into a car from the yard earlier.

But in the Khust district, a person was simply dragged out of the cab of a truck in the middle of the road and taken to another region.

An unfortunate incident also occurred in Uzhhorod. The man was sent from Zakarpattia to the Lviv region without the knowledge of his relatives. The victim's daughter told about this incident on Facebook. Her father was forcibly grabbed in broad daylight near one of the shopping malls.

The case in the Svalyava TCC is also noteworthy. Here, the conscript's mobile phone was taken away, not giving him the opportunity to call his relatives.

And perhaps one of the most resonant events of this month, which flew not only around Transcarpathia, but throughout the Ukraine and put social networks on its ears, is the story with the participation of the Khust TCC. Here, a young man, previously beaten and humiliated by the employees of the territorial center, almost committed suicide. The victim was taken to the local TCC in handcuffs by border guards directly from a hotel in Vynogradiv.
