For failure to appear on summons, Ukrainians can receive various types of punishment: from fines to imprisonment, it depends on the stage at which the person ignored the visit to the TCC.

This was stated by lawyer Yuriy Tanasiychuk on the air of the telethon. According to him, this applies to all men between the ages of 18 and 60.

"According to the law, every man of military age, that is, from 18 to 60 years old, must fulfill his duty and independently come to update his data at the nearest TCC. All territorial restrictions were lifted back in 2022. Therefore, this is not a right, it is an obligation," he said.

According to him, for the fact that a person did not update the credentials in the TCC, a fine in the amount of 1700 to 3400 UAH may be applied. In case of repeated failure to update the data and failure to appear on summons, this amount will increase. So, in case of non-appearance after passing the MPC, this amount can reach more than 8000 UAH.

"This is if we are talking about men of military age. As for the officials whose duties for certain enterprises, institutions, organizations include reporting on the mandatory appearance at the TCC, there are slightly higher amounts of administrative penalty," the lawyer said.

He stressed that at the final stage, a person can be prosecuted in criminal proceedings for evasion of mobilization, and this punishment is already significant - it can be from 3 to 5 years in prison.
