Three girls have died and one is fighting for her life in hospital after a morning bus crash in Spišský Podhrad in eastern Slovakia.
This morning in Spišský Podhrad, in eastern Slovakia, a tragic bus accident occurred. The bus hit a group of teenagers, as a result of which three girls died, two of whom were 17 and 18 years old, writes 21 Uzhgorod.
Ten more people were injured, doctors in Košice are trying to save the life of one girl, she is in serious condition. A spokeswoman for the regional police from Prešov, Jana Ligdayová, said that the bus moved off for unknown reasons and the children who were standing in front of it and getting out of it were hit by the wheels.
Preliminarily, the cause of the accident is called a malfunction of the handbrake of the bus.
