The Ukrainian-Romanian border witnessed an unexpected event. The other day, border guards of the Chernivtsi detachment found an adult bear near the border.
This distinguished guest was caught in the lens of a camera trap, according to the Western Regional Directorate of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
The bear, which the locals call the Master of the Carpathians, slowly carried out its patrol near the Ukrainian-Romanian border in the area of the "Perkalab" branch of the "Selyatyn" border guard service.
Border guards warn all tourists, and especially violators who wander astray, to be careful and not to put their lives in danger. Illegal travel in the Carpathians can be quite dangerous.
