Transcarpathians are warned about a new hydrological danger: what to be prepared for

Water levels are expected to rise in the region.

This was reported by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Zakarpattia oblast.

"On April 2-3, on the rivers of the Transcarpathian region, water levels are expected to rise by 0.5 - 1.5 m (above the levels at 8:00 on 01.04) with the initial release of water to the floodplain in the lower reaches of the Latorytsia River (danger level yellow)," the message reads.
