This was reported by the German edition of Berliner Morgenpost.

The accident happened on the A9 highway when a double-decker bus traveling from Berlin to Zurich went off the road for unknown reasons and overturned. The bus driver was a 62-year-old Czech citizen, who was sent under investigation.

The bus company Flixbus, to which the bus belonged, said that the driver respected the driving and rest times.

"Our thoughts are with all those affected by this accident and with their families," a company spokesperson said.

Police have identified three of the four victims. Among them are a 47-year-old resident of Poland, a 20-year-old Indonesian woman who lived in Berlin, and a 19-year-old resident of Bavaria.

One of the injured Ukrainian women was hospitalized immediately after the accident. Now both citizens of Ukraine are already at their place of residence.
