Yesterday at about 18:00 a fire broke out in Uzhgorod on Odeska Street. The fire broke out in an unused building, where garbage caught fire.
This incident could have led to a large-scale fire, because gas communications were located nearby, the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Zakarpattia region reports .
Rescuers of the 3rd State Fire and Rescue Unit of Uzhgorod went to the scene in time. Thanks to the timely notification of passers-by, they arrived at the scene and in less than 10 minutes extinguished the fire on an area of 15 square meters.
