In Oleshnyk, a village of the Vynogradiv community, a fire broke out, which destroyed part of an outbuilding.
The incident happened around noon, when a resident of the village was burning garbage in her garden, despite strong gusts of wind, the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Zakarpattia region reports.
According to eyewitnesses, a spark from the fire hit a neighbor's wooden structure, which caused a fire. The owner of the household, who was working outside at the time, noticed the fire and heard a loud crack.
Rescuers who arrived at the scene managed to prevent the fire from spreading to a nearby summer kitchen and garage. Due to heavy smoke, firefighters had to work in respiratory and eye protection devices.
The fire destroyed part of the outbuilding and material values inside.
