In Bukovyna, operational units of the Chernivtsi border detachment detained a citizen of Ukraine, who organized the illegal transportation of persons across the state border.
Border guards continuously carry out active measures to search for and detain persons who carry out illegal activities at the state border and in controlled border areas. Particular attention is paid to the organizers of the illegal transportation of persons across the state border, reports the Western Regional Department of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine

Border guards-operatives obtain information about all participants in illegal schemes, then participate in the search and detention of the suspects, as well as provide operational support for criminal proceedings.
The detained citizen of Ukraine, who organized the illegal transportation of persons to Romania, was born in 1988. He was chosen a measure of restraint in the form of detention for a period of 60 days with the possibility of bail in the amount of 240 thousand hryvnias.
The detainee faces criminal liability under Art. 332 of the Criminal Code "Illegal transportation of persons across the state border of Ukraine".
