In the city of Vynogradiv in Transcarpathia, the street of the deceased captain of the 128th Mountain Assault Brigade Dmytro Milyutin appeared. Another 100 streets need to be renamed in the region.

This was reported on the page "Decommunization. Ukraine" on Facebook.

Eight more streets and alleys were also renamed in Vynogradiv. In particular, Lomonosov Lane will now be named Bokshai, and 30 Years of Liberation Street will be named after Maria Prymachenko.

"It remains to rename Pushkin Street and the decolonization of streets in the city will be completed. Exactly 100 streets need to be renamed in the region," the message reads.

Also, two streets were renamed in the villages of Velyki Komyati and Oleshnyk, one in the villages of Velyka Kopania and Trosnyk.

What is known about Dmitry Milyutin

43-year-old Dmytro Miliutin was a veteran of the Anti-Terrorist Operation/Joint Forces Operation, served as an artilleryman, and was a public figure. He stood up for Ukraine in 2014. After the completion of the contract, he was a member of the executive committee of the Vynogradiv City Council, and on February 24 he again joined the ranks of the Ukrainian army. He was the commander of an artillery platoon.

Dmytro Miliutin was killed on November 3 as a result of a Russian missile strike during the celebrations for the Day of Missile Forces and Artillery. A Russian missile hit a concentration of soldiers of the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Zakarpattia Brigade.
