Over the weekend - 18 fires of dry grass, shrubs and garbage with a total area of 3.5 hectares
Among the anti-leaders are Uzhhorod and Mukachevo regions, next on the list are Tyachiv, Beregovo and Rakhiv districts.
"In the village of Lazy, Tyachiv district, the fire almost spread to the forest, and in the Mukachevo district, the residential sector was in the crosshairs of the fire element. Fortunately, it was overcome by rescuers," the statement reads.
The State Emergency Service appeals to the residents of the region:
"Dear countrymen, causing such damage to the state during martial law is a double crime. Be conscious and careful with fire, so as not to help the enemy further deplete Ukraine's economy in such difficult times," the rescuers emphasize.
