Border guards of the Chernivtsi detachment detained two men near the border with Romania, who paid 9,000 euros each for an illegal route that they could not overcome.

The detainees turned out to be residents of Lviv and Ternopil regions. For an attempt to illegally cross the border, materials on an administrative offense were issued against them. The border guards found out that the violators paid 9000 euros to the organizer of the scheme, who gave instructions on the route through one of the messengers. At the final stage, these instructions were carried out by a resident of the border area, who drove the detainees to the border in his own car, reports the Western Regional Department of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

Soon, border guards found and stopped the car in which the carrier was. He and the organizer of the scheme, whose identity is being established, face criminal liability under Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
