Uzhgorod police found a driver who tried to give a bribe in order to avoid administrative liability.

The incident occurred recently, at about 5 p.m., near the village of Seredne, according to the Patrol Police of Transcarpathian region.

The driver, who was driving a Renault car, violated the Traffic Rules. During the consideration of the case, he tried to provide a bribe in the amount of 200 hryvnias along with documents, arguing that he was in a hurry.

A resolution was drawn up against the violator under Part 1 of Art. 122 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (Exceeding the established speed limits of vehicles). In addition, an investigative team was called to the scene, since the driver's actions show signs of a criminal offense under Art. 369 of the Criminal Code (Offer, promise or provision of an improper benefit to an official).
