On March 31, at about 6.20 p.m., a traffic accident occurred in the village of Yampil, Lviv district.
This was reported by the Police of Lviv oblast.
According to preliminary data from law enforcement officers, there was a collision between a Fiat car, driven by a 37-year-old resident of the village, and a scooter ridden by an eight-year-old boy, a local resident. As a result of the accident, the boy was injured and taken to the hospital.
In fact, criminal proceedings have been opened under Part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty provided for by the sanction of the article is restriction of liberty for up to three years, with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for up to three years. The police are establishing the circumstances of the incident.
