On March 25, a traffic accident occurred in the Lviv district, which led to injuries to the driver of a car. The incident happened at about 5:45 p.m. on the Kyiv-Chop highway in the village of Zubra.
According to preliminary data from law enforcement agencies, the cars "Opel Insignia", driven by a 21-year-old resident of the Yavoriv district, and "VAZ-2109", driven by a 43-year-old resident of the Lviv district, collided, the Police of the Lviv region reports .
As a result of the accident, the driver of the VAZ-2109 was injured and taken to the hospital.
The police have initiated criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Violation of traffic safety rules) and are establishing all the circumstances of the incident. The maximum penalty provided for under these articles may include restriction of liberty for up to three years and deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for the same period.
