In Lviv, police detained two men suspected of theft from a bank. The attackers, a 31-year-old and a 40-year-old from Lviv, were detained on Piasecki Street after they left the bank on Volodymyr the Great Street, carrying large bags and hammers.

In Lviv, police detained two men suspected of theft from a bank. The attackers, a 31-year-old and a 40-year-old from Lviv, were detained on Piasecki Street after they left the bank on Volodymyr the Great Street, carrying large bags and hammers.
Investigators seized material evidence of involvement in the crime, including money and jewelry, which were stolen from the bank. The amount of the stolen goods is currently being established, according to the Police of the Lviv region.

Criminal proceedings have been opened on the fact of theft under Part 5 of Article 185 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – theft committed under martial law. The sanction of the article provides for punishment - imprisonment for a term of seven to twelve years with confiscation of property.

The offenders were detained in accordance with Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. The issue of notifying them of suspicion of committing a crime and choosing measures of restraint is being resolved. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
