Fast and furious in Transcarpathia: a drunk driver drove away from the police and committed an accident (VIDEO)

On weekends, at about 4 o'clock, on the Mukachevo bypass, patrol officers found a driver who violated traffic rules, driving a VAZ car. The driver did not react to sound and light signals and did not comply with the legal requirement to stop, creating emergency situations for other road users.

Patrol officers began a pursuit and managed to stop the helmsman by blocking. However, during this, the driver hit a police car, the Patrol Police of Transcarpathian region reports.

During the conversation, the police noticed obvious signs of alcohol intoxication in the driver. The driver was examined with a dragger, the result of which showed 2.38 ppm, which is almost 12 times higher than the permissible blood alcohol limit.

A number of administrative materials were drawn up against the violator:

  • Under Part 1 of Art. 122-2 (Failure of drivers to comply with the requirements of a police officer),
  • Under Art. 124 (Violation of traffic rules by road users, which caused damage to vehicles),
  • Under Part 2 of Art. 126 (Driving a vehicle without the right to drive) of the Code of Administrative Offenses.
  • Under Part 1 of Art. 130 (Driving while intoxicated) of the Code of Administrative Offenses.
