"They drive like suicide bombers, the savior aches from them": the police "hunted" motorcyclists (PHOTOS)

Over the past week, 432 motorcyclists have been checked, 174 of whom have committed offenses.

This was reported by the Main Directorate of the National Police in Zakarpattia oblast.

Employees of the preventive units of the police of Transcarpathia continue a set of preventive measures among road users. Particular attention is paid to drivers of motor vehicles: they are reminded of compliance with the speed limit, the use of helmets, the inadmissibility of driving while intoxicated, etc.

So, over the past week, law enforcement officers have checked more than four hundred drivers.

During the raids, 174 offenses were documented and relevant administrative materials were issued against the drivers.

Also, according to the statistics carried out by the employees of the Department of Preventive Activities of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Transcarpathian region, the most common violations of traffic safety rules among motorcyclists are:

– violation of the rules for the use of motorcycle helmets (Part 5 of Article 121 of the Code of Administrative Offenses);

– driving a vehicle without a license plate, with a license plate that does not belong to this vehicle or does not meet the established samples or requirements (Part 3 of Article 121-3 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses);

– driving a vehicle by a person who does not have or has not presented a driver's license of the appropriate category or other registration document for inspection (Part 1 of Article 126 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses);

– driving a vehicle by a person who does not have the right to drive such a vehicle, or transferring control of a vehicle to a person who does not have the right to drive such a vehicle (Part 2 of Article 126 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses).

During the week, 84 motorcycles were placed in police impound lots. Most of such cases were recorded in Tyachiv district – 12, in the service area of the Police Station No. 1 of Beregovo District Police Department (Vynogradiv) and in the Police Department No. 1 (Dubove) – 11 each.

Work in this direction continues, and therefore law enforcement officers urge citizens to take care of their own safety and follow the established rules!
