Today, patrol police officers stopped a driver on Preshivska Street in Mukachevo, who violated traffic rules while driving a VAZ car. While communicating with the driver, the police noticed signs of drug intoxication, but the driver refused a medical examination.

The driver repeatedly offered the police an improper benefit in order to avoid responsibility for his violations. He even tried to put a 200 hryvnia bill in his official car, according to the Patrol Police of Transcarpathian region.

A number of administrative materials were drawn up against the violator:

  • Under Part 1 of Art. 130 (Driving under the influence of alcohol),
  • under Part 5 of Art. 126 (Repeated driving of a vehicle by a person deprived of the right to drive during the year),
  • under Part 5 of Art. 121 (Violation of the rules for the use of seat belts or motorcycle helmets) of the Code of Administrative Offenses.

Due to an attempt to provide a bribe, an investigative team was called to the scene, since the driver's actions were seen as a criminal offense.
