The message portal will help protect children and create a safe cyberspace.

The notification service was launched by the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the Cyber Police Department together with the NGO "Magnolia".

This is stated on the website of the cyber police of Ukraine.

As of today, the first portal for reporting materials related to sexual abuse of children on the Internet – StopCrime – is operating in Ukraine. You can report a possible crime of child sexual abuse on the Internet by following the link: https://stopcrime.ua/net-crime.

"We are working with European partners to create a safe space for children in the digital environment. The StopCrime online reporting portal is  a new opportunity to protect citizens' rights on the Internet, which is available in most EU countries and has now been implemented in Ukraine. The development of such hotlines  is envisaged, among other things, by the European Strategy for Better Internet for Children," said Valeria Ionan, Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation for European Integration.

The message sent may be anonymous. The main thing is to provide a link where the content is posted. To further investigate and block such content, the NGO Magnolia, as a member of the International Network, will collect, analyze and transmit it to the Cyber Police Department and Interpol.

"The launch of StopCrime is an important step to protect children and create a safe cyberspace. On this portal, people can leave a report of child sexual abuse on the Internet and learn more about online safety. The confirmed information will be immediately sent to law enforcement officers to investigate and expose the perpetrators," said Yurii Vykhodets, Head of the Cyber Police Department.

The NGO "Magnolia" is responsible for the functioning and processing of online appeals and will contribute to the documentation and investigation of crimes committed against children. She is also a member of the international network of online child sexual abuse reporting hotlines – INHOPE. The Ministry of Digital Transformation began consultations with INHOPE even before the start of the full-scale invasion.

"Sexual abuse of a child on the Internet is a separate type of crime that has no borders, and it is possible to counteract this crime only in close cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and the Cyber Police Department of the National Police of Ukraine. Magnolia is very grateful to our partners who, despite the full-scale war and many challenges associated with it, contributed to the connection of the hotline to the INHOPE network in record time," said Yevhenia Tkachenko, President of the NGO Magnolia.
