In the Chernivtsi region, border guards detained two men who were trying to illegally enter Romania.
According to the Porubne department, the car with the violators was stopped near the state border.
Initially, the detainees, residents of Chernivtsi and Ivano-Frankivsk regions, were confused in their stories about the purpose and direction of their trip. However, during further communication, it was established that both "travelers" planned to illegally enter Romania.
The organizer of the illegal crossing sent traffic routes to the phones of his "clients". For this "service" each of the men paid him 5 thousand euros.
Currently, the fate of the detainees will be decided by the court, and the search for the organizer of the "scheme" continues to bring him to justice under Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. This article is punishable by imprisonment for a term of three to seven years.
