Restrictions on the movement of cars through the checkpoint "Vyšné Nemecké - Uzhhorod", which is on the Ukrainian-Slovak border, will be introduced from March 19 to 21

The restriction applies primarily to freight traffic and will be in effect from Tuesday to Thursday (March 19-21). According to Jana Nimrichterová, a spokeswoman for the customs office in Michalovce, regular maintenance and inspection of road weighing devices is planned these days.

She clarified that from March 19 to 21, certain restrictions on car traffic will be introduced from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. CET. During the specified period, traffic will be blocked in one lane.

"When crossing the state border, truck drivers are asked to be more careful and follow temporary road signs and instructions from customs and police duty officers," Nimrichterova added.
