A MAN truck with a destroyed body identifier was found by border guards of the Mukachevo detachment on the border with Romania.

This was reported on the page of the Western Regional Directorate of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine - Western Border.

During the inspection of the truck, which was used by a 42-year-old Polish citizen to arrive at the Dyakove checkpoint, the border guard found signs of destruction of the identification number of the body. There was no information about the replacement or destruction of the VIN code in the documents for the vehicle.

Officers of the National Police were called to the scene. On the detection of signs of a crime provided for under Art. 290 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine "Destruction, forgery or replacement of numbers of components and assemblies of a vehicle" border guards sent a message to the Vynogradiv police department.

Upon arrival at the checkpoint, the National Police seized the vehicle and took it to the impound lot.
