But this does not apply to all refugees from Ukraine who have found refuge in the Czech Republic.

Refugees from Ukraine who are in the Czech Republic may have their temporary protection revoked if they have a visa in another country.

This was reported by bigmir.net with reference to Nashi Ukrajinci.

It is noted that an obstacle to the extension of temporary protection and the reason for its cancellation may be the presence of another visa for a stay of more than 90 days, obtained in another country.

Such visas include, for example, Canadian W1 visas issued after February 10, 2023, or all Ukraine Scheme visas issued by the UK.

However, temporary protection can be extended if the following visas are available:

  • Canadian W1 visas issued before February 10, 2023;
  • Canadian V1 visas;
  • US visas – Uniting for Ukraine (USA Paroled);
  • Visitor visa of the UK with validity of up to 6 months.
