Will we celebrate victory in 2024?: General of the Ukrainian army voiced his forecast.

According to the general, the main "blood" of the war is fuel and it is necessary to deprive Russia of this advantage.

General of the Army of Ukraine Mykola Malomuzh assessed the situation at the front. The head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine in 2005-2010 predicted when the Armed Forces of Ukraine would be successful, writes Today.ua.

According to the military expert, good news awaits Ukraine in the summer and fall of 2024.

Malomuzh noted that the allies realized the need to weaken the Russian occupiers on the battlefield and in the rear, which gives them planes, drones and missiles. According to the general, the main "blood" of the war is fuel – gasoline, diesel fuel, and oil, which are used by the ruscists' equipment. We are talking about tanks, armored personnel carriers, attack aircraft, bombers, infantry fighting vehicles, trains.

It is indicated that it is necessary to completely deprive the invaders of the means of delivery and supply of troops in the rear, so that they have nothing to fly and strike on the battlefield. "A tank without diesel fuel is worthless," the expert recalled.

Mykola Malomuzh explained that Russians should not be able to make money on the foreign market by selling gas and oil. And having this income, they direct it to continue military aggression against Ukrainians.

"Destroying oil depots and oil refining is a double prospect. This is the weakening of the enemy on the battlefield and the prevention of strategic strikes on Ukraine. And the second component is the deprivation of forces and funds in foreign markets. I think the task is twofold, it is being implemented gradually, in stages," the general said.

The Head of the Supreme Council of the People's Assembly of Ukraine recalled that NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg recently stated for the first time that Ukraine has the right to attack Russian military facilities outside Ukraine - in accordance with international law.

According to Malomuzh, this is a great advantage, because missiles and drones are capable of suppressing the potential of the Russian Federation. He believes that we can talk about the approaching victory over the occupiers.

"This is the prospect of the totality of the grand strategy that we talked about, victory in 2024. Such a symbiosis will give good prospects for, I think, the summer – autumn of 2024."
