Yesterday, within the Vynogradiv community, two fires broke out in 8 hours.
This was reported by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Zakarpattia oblast.
The first fire occurred in the afternoon in the outbuilding of a 52-year-old resident of the village of Pidvynogradiv. A woman who started cooking on a homemade stove left the pot on the heater unattended and went to the village. Neighbors noticed flames in the building and notified rescuers at 2:18 p.m.
Firefighters from Vynogradiv and their colleagues from the local fire brigade of the village of Pidvynogradiv worked on the spot. Together, at 2:40 p.m., they extinguished the fire on an area of 10 square meters. The roof, ceiling and household property were damaged.
The Rescue Service received a report about the second fire at 10:05 p.m. from a 24-year-old resident of Vynogradiv. He reported that an outbuilding was on fire in his yard. At 10:30 p.m., the fighters of the State Emergency Service managed to extinguish the fire on an area of 30 square meters. The fire managed to destroy the doors, window, roof of the building and household items.
The cause of both fires and the material damage caused are being established by law enforcement agencies.
