They may be late for the consecration of Easter cakes: what should Transcarpathians take into account?.

On the night from Saturday to Sunday, there will be a transition to daylight saving time, and at the same time, some Transcarpathians will take Easter baskets to churches to consecrate.

In Ukraine, daylight saving time usually occurs on the last Sunday of March.In 2024, it will be on the night of March 30-31 at 3:00 p.m.

Modern technology, such as computers and smartphones, automatically changes to the new time, while push-button phones and mechanical clocks require manual translation.

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has tried several times to discuss the issue of abolishing the transition to summer and winter time together with public leaders, but this initiative remains unresolved. It should be recalled that not only Ukraine, but also almost 70 countries of the world switch to summer and winter time twice a year. At the same time, 135 countries around the world have either never used this practice or have already abandoned it.
