What Changes Are Proposed
In accordance with Part 1 of Art. 15. The Law of Ukraine "On Military Duty and Military Service" proposes to send male citizens of Ukraine from 18 to 25 years old for basic military service. They can choose the year of their basic military service until they reach the age of 24.
According to paragraph 1 of part 1 of Art. 37 register conscripts under the age of 25.
According to subparagraph 2, conscripts are already being registered - those conscripts who have undergone basic combined arms training.
In simple words, according to the lawyer, this means that if the draft law is adopted , if a man, for example, as a conscript at the age of 18-24, has undergone basic military training , he automatically becomes liable for military service, so he can actually be mobilized.
