On March 10, Laura and Darren Smith were looking for their car keys and decided to check the CCTV footage in case they were dropped on the street. They claim to have spotted an alleged ghost on the footage trying to steal their sports car. This happened two nights in a row.
The couple saw a white figure that lingered near the sports car for 10 seconds and then "floated away". The woman decided that it was her late mother, who decided to "visit" her on Mother's Day. However, when the mysterious figure returned the next evening, she was terrified that it was a spirit who "liked" their conspicuous Audi TT.
In the second clip, the Smiths noticed the white spot floating towards the driver's side door again and then moving towards the rear, as if "getting inside".
Darren's car keys were found in Laura's purse, but none of them remember putting them there. The British woman claims to have searched there twice, so they think it was the "ghost" that brought them back. Laura, who was terrified after watching the CCTV footage, claims that her husband was even afraid to get behind the wheel of a car that day, suddenly the spirit was sitting and waiting for him in the back seats.
Social media users were sure that the couple captured the ghost on camera. Some claimed it was a bug on the lens, with one user even advising the couple to sell the car amid speculation that the spirit really wanted to steal it. Some have suggested that the mysterious shadow owned the car during his lifetime.
"I can definitely see it. It's amazing. He seems to be interested in the car. Is she by any chance connected to anyone who drove by?", "It's a very clear camera. Not a spider web. Whoever it was, they liked the car. It looks like they climbed inside," they wrote
