Today, on March 20, the native village of Velyka Kopanya met the motorcade with the body of the defender Vitaliy Chonka, who died last year.

And tomorrow relatives, friends and just caring people will take him on his last earthly journey to the place of his eternal rest.

"The funeral ceremony of farewell to Junior Sergeant Chonka Vitaliy Vasyliovych, born in 1974, a resident of the village of Velyka Kopanya, will be held tomorrow, 03/21/2024, at 11.00 a.m. at home address (Velyka Kopanya village, Molodezhnaya St., 13)," the message reads .

The editorial board of the "Voice of the Carpathians" expresses its sincere condolences to the family, friends and comrades-in-arms of the fallen defender!
