Relatives did not lose hope that he was alive to the last: The body of a Hero from Vynogradiv district was identified

The sad news about the identification of the remains of another defender from Velika Kopani was reported online.

"The body of the Hero - Chonka Vitaly Vasilyevich from Velyka Kopani has been identified," the statement said.

It is noted that on June 8 last year, during artillery shelling of positions in the area of the settlement of Mala Tokmachka, Zaporozhye  region, the deputy commander of the combat vehicle, junior sergeant Chonka Vitaliy Vasyliovych, born in 1974, a resident of the village of Velyka Kopanya, went missing.

According to the identification carried out on March 15, 2024 in Zaporizhzhia, the identity of our Hero has been established and confirmed.

The editorial board of the "Voice of the Carpathians" expresses its sincere condolences to the family, friends and comrades-in-arms of the fallen defender!
