"Killer mushrooms": 10 poisonous mushrooms that hide under beautiful hats (PHOTOS, VIDEO)

In Ukraine, and in particular in Transcarpathia, the mushroom season continues. Lovers of "quiet hunting" arm themselves with baskets, buckets and other containers and go into the forest for such coveted edible trophies. But if experienced mushroom pickers understand mushrooms and can easily distinguish edible from poisonous, then amateurs can easily confuse them and bring home poison instead of the coveted delicacy. Therefore, it is worth having knowledge about what dangerous mushrooms look like, so as not to fall into a death trap.

Mushroom hunting is a very enjoyable and exciting activity, but it must be done correctly. Experienced mushroom pickers know what mushrooms can be collected, but beginners can make a mistake and accidentally pick a poisonous mushroom, writes "Unian".

Poisoning with poisonous mushrooms can have various consequences: abdominal pain, vomiting, dizziness, loss of consciousness, convulsions and even death. If you suspect mushroom poisoning, you should immediately consult a doctor. Some mushrooms are deadly.

Pale toadstool is the most dangerous mushroom in Ukrainian forests. Toadstool poisoning is fatal in most cases. If you doubt that the mushroom may turn out to be a toadstool, it is better not to take it.

The main differences: white plates under the cap, there is no smell, when broken, it remains white. There is a skirt on the leg of the toadstool. At the bottom to the root, its leg thickens.

Also, do not pick mushrooms and berries near the toadstool, as they may contain poisonous spores.

However, it has been proven that the poison of the pepper fungus gradually accumulates in the body and destroys the liver. It likes to grow in spruce forests from June to October. It is similar to buttermilk, but has a pungent taste and never has a skirt on a leg.

The cap is white, smooth, slightly shiny, often curved inward. Talkers have many species, some of which are edible. Inexperienced mushroom pickers are better off avoiding such mushrooms altogether.

False mushrooms

False mushrooms are very similar to edible mushrooms and also grow in groups, and can also have a different cap color. Real mushrooms have a skirt under the cap, which is not present in fake ones. Also, poisonous mushrooms have an unpleasant odor, and yellow plates, and honey mushrooms smell pleasant and have white plates. Symptoms of poisoning are diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, intoxication, fever.
