In Ukraine, from April 1, 2024, the minimum wage is expected to increase from UAH 7100 to UAH 8000.

This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during a government meeting on March 29.

Shmyhal also noted that pension payments for March were made in full. More than 10 million Ukrainian pensioners received indexed payments on time.

"The increase took place as we promised. From April 1, we will increase payments to working pensioners," the Prime Minister said.

In total, pensions in the amount of UAH 62 billion were paid in March.
