The traffic accident occurred on March 13, at about 16.00, on Hrushevskoho Street in the city of Pustomyty, Lviv district.
As previously established by law enforcement officers, the driver of the Renault Zoe, a 25-year-old resident of Pustomyty, hit a pedestrian, a 16-year-old local resident, the Police of the Lviv region reports .
As a result of the accident, a minor girl was injured and hospitalized in intensive care.
In fact, investigators of the Police Department No. 3 of the Lviv District Police Department No. 2 opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty provided for by the sanction of the article is up to three years of restriction of liberty with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for up to three years.
Law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the incident.
