The traffic accident occurred on March 12, at about 21.00, on the highway "Kyiv-Chop" near the village of Hamaliivka, Lviv district.
As previously established by law enforcement officers, there was a collision between Scania trucks, driven by a 41-year-old resident of Vinnytsia, and MAN trucks driven by a 48-year-old resident of Vinnytsia, the Police of Lviv region reports .
As a result of the accident, the passenger "MAN", a 46-year-old resident of Vinnytsia, was injured and hospitalized.
In fact, investigators of the Police Department No. 1 of the Lviv District Police Department No. 1 opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty provided for by the sanction of the article is restriction of liberty for up to three years, with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for up to three years.
