On March 5, at about 1:30 p.m., a 17-year-old boy died on Stepan Bandera Street in the town of Rudky, Sambir district.
According to preliminary data, a 24-year-old resident of the area, the driver of a Toyota car, was transporting firewood in a trailer. There were three guys on the wood - two 21-year-olds and their underage friend. At one of the turns, the trailer overturned, as a result of which a minor boy died from his injuries at the scene, according to the Police of the Lviv region.
Investigators and officers of other police units of Lviv oblast are working at the scene. Law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the accident, in particular, whether the driver of the Toyota was driving under the influence of alcohol. The issue of legal qualification of the event is being resolved.
