One of them went through the hell of enemy captivity: the first team of conscripts from Transcarpathia was demobilized.

On their own initiative, they took part in hostilities in the Bakhmut area in the Donetsk region.

In the Chop border guard detachment, events were held on the occasion of the release of the first team of conscripts to the reserve of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In Zakarpattia, the first team of conscripts was demobilized. The 25 young men who lined up today are the best conscripts of the Chop detachment, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine informs .

All young men conscientiously performed the task of protecting the state border of Ukraine. Eleven boys, on their own initiative, took part in hostilities in the Bakhmut area in the Donetsk region. Their heroism, resilience and indomitability during assaults and defensive battles were noted by the President of Ukraine and the leadership of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. One of the border guards, soldier Maksym Musienko, went through the hell of Russian captivity.

By the Decree of the President of Ukraine, five conscripts received state awards for special merits during the defense of Ukraine from Russian aggression. Senior soldier Pavlo Verheliuk was awarded the medal "For Military Service to Ukraine". Senior soldiers Denys Tsybulenko, Vladyslav Lopandia and soldier Artem Lystopad were awarded medals "Defender of Ukraine". Senior soldier Maksym Zelenskyy was awarded the Order "For Courage" of the III degree.

During the solemn line-up, the leadership of the Chop Border Control awarded the servicemen released to the reserve of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with departmental awards and valuable gifts. The head of the Chop detachment, Colonel Vasyl Vitrchak, thanked the guys for their conscientious service, for their loyalty to the military oath and the Ukrainian people.

"We are very proud of your heroism and dedication. Despite your young age, you, without hesitation, stood up for the defense of our state and proved yourself worthy during the fiercest battles with the enemy. Some of your comrades-in-arms did not return from those battles, they gave their lives for the freedom and independence of Ukraine... Eternal glory to them! Some of you have decided to continue your service in the State Border Guard Service as contract servicemen. Today you are going to your homes, where family and friends are waiting for you. We wish you a good rest and recovery, but remember that the doors of the Chop border guard detachment are always open for you!", Vasyl Vitruchak addressed the most courageous sons of Ukraine.
